The product tour

What is built, module by module

Everything here exists in code today, behind 1,165 automated tests. Each module ends with its honest note.

01

Membership and applications

The club register, kept properly.

Members, categories, households, documents. ID numbers encrypted at rest. Online application forms mirror the club's own paper form: an inbox, proposer and seconder, convert to member.

The importer for the club's current files is part of setup; the parallel run follows a documented runbook.

02

Subs billing, debtors and the wallet

Money on a double-entry ledger, nothing bolted on.

One double-entry journal under everything: subs, levies, statements, ageing, debit-order batches, and a member wallet the till debits. Money lands in the club's own accounts; journals export to Xero or Sage.

No general ledger of our own, deliberately: Xero or Sage stay the books, and an auditor can walk the postings.

03

Tee sheet and online bookings

Rules the system enforces, so nobody has to.

Booking windows, rate classes and prices by date and time, enforced by the system. Online bookings hold a slot inside a payment window and release on the clock. Waitlists offer freed slots automatically.

Every rate override needs a reason and a role, and lands in the audit log.

04

POS through load-shedding

The bar keeps selling when the power goes.

Green fees, pro shop and bar tabs on a tablet till. A sale completes on the device and syncs when power returns, priced at the moment it was rung up. The server re-prices every basket and refuses a sale the two disagree on.

Offline covers cash, card and club-account sales; tabs and wallet payments need the connection. Deep F&B is not built yet.

05

Comms

The weekly letter, with receipts.

Audiences from the register, templates, campaigns, tracked sends, honest unsubscribe. Notices reach the member app too.

E-mail is built; WhatsApp and SMS are not yet.

06

The member app

The club in the member's pocket, in the club's colours.

Installable, no app store: bookings, balances, top-ups, notices, a digital member card. Each club's app in that club's identity.

Handicap display switches on with the club's HNA credentials.
