For the committee table
The committee pack
Everything a committee needs to weigh Golf Club Hub, on paper, with the honest parts left in. Print it and table it.
What Golf Club Hub is
Club management software for South African golf clubs, by Lumanaire (Cape Town): membership, subs billing, tee sheet, till and member app in one system. Everything below exists in code today, behind 1,165 automated tests, as at 28 August 2026. No club is live on it yet; the first clubs run it in parallel beside their current systems.
- Membership
- The register, online applications, convert to member. ID numbers encrypted at rest.
- Subs billing
- Double-entry billing, statements, debtor ageing, debit-order batches. Journals export to Xero or Sage, which remain the club's books.
- Member wallet
- Club credit on the same ledger. Money lands in the club's own accounts.
- Tee sheet
- Booking windows, rate classes and prices enforced by the system. Visitor bookings held inside a payment window.
- POS
- Green fees, pro shop, bar tabs. Cash, card and club-account sales complete offline through load-shedding; tabs and wallet payments need the connection.
- Comms
- Audiences, templates, tracked sends. E-mail is built; WhatsApp and SMS are not yet.
- Member app
- Installable, no app store: bookings, balances, top-ups, a digital member card.
What it costs
Per club, per month, VAT excluded, whatever the member count. Core R2,999 (membership, comms, tee sheet and online bookings, member app, dashboard). Club R4,999 (adds subs billing and debtors on the ledger, the wallet, POS, debit-order batches, Xero or Sage export, and HNA if and when credentials are issued). Club Plus R7,499 (new modules land here first as they ship). Pass-throughs, named: gateway fees, SMS and WhatsApp delivery when switched on, any HNA ISV fee, hardware at cost, with the club's existing card machine kept working. Setup and migration are quoted per club; the parallel run is part of the job.
The parallel run
- A walkthrough on the club's own categories, subs and tee sheet rules.
- A written quote: setup, migration, and what the club pays during the run.
- The import of the club's files, through the documented runbook.
- Both systems side by side; month-end compared line by line. The club's HNA process untouched.
- The switch, only when the committee signs off. Month to month from then on.
Questions a committee will ask, answered
- Is pricing published?
- Yes, in full, on golfclubhub.co.za/pricing and on this page.
- What is the contract term?
- Month to month. No annual contract.
- Does the club's data export?
- In full, in open formats, at any time, not only at exit.
- Who holds members' money?
- The club, in its own bank and merchant accounts.
- Who sees member ID numbers?
- Encrypted at rest; revealed only to the roles that need them, with the audit log recording who saw what.
- Is HNA integration live?
- No. Built and proved against a mock; switched off unless and until HNA issues credentials. The club's existing HNA process is untouched.
- How many clubs are live?
- None yet. The first clubs run in parallel beside their current systems.
The HNA status, verbatim
The connector to HNA through the DotGolf ISV API is built and proved against a mock built from the published documentation: member linking, handicap reads, score intents at check-in, score batches and webhooks. It has not yet run against live HNA data. The request to HNA for ISV credentials is prepared, and the module ships switched off unless and until they are issued. A club running Golf Club Hub in parallel keeps its existing HNA process untouched.
