Row-level security on every table
The database refuses cross-club reads and writes on every table: a second lock behind the server's own checks, not the only one.
ID numbers encrypted at rest
Revealed in full only to the roles that need them; the audit log records who saw what.
An audit log on everything money-adjacent
Postings are immutable: corrections are reversals, not edits. Overrides need a reason and a role.
Designed for load-shedding
The till completes sales on the device and syncs when power returns; a retried sale lands once.
POPIA posture
A written operator agreement per club, data minimisation by default, consent where the law asks.
Your data leaves with you
Month to month, no lock-in. A full copy of the club's data, in open formats, on request.
If Lumanaire were gone tomorrow
A fair question to ask a young company. The books already live in Xero or Sage, not with us, and the register, ledger and history export in full at any time, not only at exit.
Hosting and backups, before you ask
No uptime number until there is operating history to base one on. Managed Postgres, daily backups, hosting region agreed with each club before member data loads.
The parallel run, stage by stage
Nothing switches until the committee has minuted that the numbers agree. Each stage is written down and signed before the next.

What is not built yet
Deep food-and-beverage, competitions, and a general ledger of our own: Xero or Sage stay the books. And no club is in production yet; the first clubs run it in parallel beside their current systems. If a page on this site ever claims otherwise, hold us to this one.
